My good friend Carol asked me to host her daughter's reception at our house. How could I refuse? Anna was one of my Laurels and it was such a blessing to be so closely involved. It is truly a happy day to be able to witness a couple that is righteous join together for eternity.

We put Tiki Torches and lanterns in the trees so that the yard had a glow once it got dark.
We had a cupcake Buffet with 6 different flavors of mini cupcakes and cheesecakes.
We brought my parents fire pit over to fill in where the trampoline used to be. The eye sore of the gravel corner was a huge hit with the younger crowd. Someone asked where are the marshmallows to roast?

The cupcake buffet looks amazing! You should send me the recipes for the pina colada and mint chocolate cheesecake ones. Ok, maybe the carrot cake one too. And the cookies and cream cheesecake one. :) Your backyard looked very nice, Lori. Awesome job! If we had had an outdoor reception that would definitely have been what I would have hoped for. :) Congratulations to your friend's family and the newlyweds.
