Chaparral High School's Homecoming Parade

Katie and Marissa were in the parade on the Cross Country Float.

We almost missed Marissa as she waved from the back of the float.

Brooklyn had a blast getting candy from the parade!  It took some coaxing, because how many times do you tell your kids "Don't run into the street!"  and then a parade comes by and you say go run and get the candy!!  She really brought it in!  If only her hands had been a little bigger!

All she had to do was wave at the float and they threw the loot!

After the parade on Thursday and the Football game on Friday - came the dance on Saturday.  How do these raving beauties prepare themselves?  They keep just a few important things in mind:

Shoes are critical in putting together any special attire! 

Next, hair!  The do is is what completes the ensemble!

Finally, Have FUN!!  Two of the group were on an actual date, the rest all went stag.  Katie went wth her good friend Nathan Crowley from Cross Country.

Ashely and Nathan are demonstrating that this is what you do if you eat too much at dinner!  It is enough to ruin the night.  So to have fun - don't over eat:)
